Equivalent to F-18B-9-MC when delivered.  With No. 410 Squadron at CFB Cold Lake, Alberta in 1980s and 1990s, exact dates not known.  With 425e Escadrille tactique de combat at CFB Bagotville, PQ in February 1995.  Received Category C damage on 31 July 2001.  Bleed air leak shortly after takeoff from Bagotville, en route to Toronto, resulted in smoke in cockpit, improper landing gear retraction, and other failures.  Aircraft further damaged by arrestor cables during high speed, no flaps landing.  Investigation revealed that Flow Temperature Limiting Anti-Ice Modulating Valve recently installed in this aircraft had been removed unserviceable from 188751 two years earlier, and returned to use without repairs being performed, causing the leak.  At CFB Cold Lake, Alberta, with No. 410 Squadron markings, in April 2006.  Stored at Trenton in September 2009.  Not included in April 2016 list of active CF-18s.
