NOTE ON TEXAN NOMENCLATURE:  All the aircraft listed here were built for the USAAF as AT-6D Texans.  The USAF revised its nomenclature for advanced trainers in 1948 or 1949, and they became known as T-6Ds.  The RCAF official documents refer to these aircraft as T6D or T-6D Texans.
