Transferred to RCN shortly after coming on RCAF books.  Used for glider training at Dartmouth, NS, often towed aloft by an Army truck.  Tow cable broke in summer of 1949, wrapped around glider, leading to a crash.  Struck off without being repaired.

Used in Exercise Musk Ox in early 1946, by No. 1 Air Support Unit, RCAF.  Still carried US Troop Carrier Command crest on front fuselage.  Probably on loan from US.  One of several US serialled gliders used by this unit, but only one I have been able to clearly identify.
